One day, I came home from work with my daughter, and my fiancé John was playing with her in the living room while I made spaghetti. They were giggling away in the background as I was cooking. Out of nowhere, my daughter came in the kitchen and said, "Mama, I got something special for you " in her cute little voice. She proceeded to open this tiny box she had in her hand and pulled out a ring. I was just grinning from ear to ear. John came walking in shortly after and just smiled. I hugged and kissed him as I was shaking. I couldn't even get the ring on because I was shaking so violently. Finally, he helped me put it on as tears kept streaming down my face. It was the sweetest way possible to receive an engagement ring.
