I knew something was up on New Year's Eve. My mom had cancelled lunch with me, and my boyfriend Dan suddenly had thousands of errands to run! Unfortunately, I got into a car accident, but my mom was readily available to pick me up. Little did I know, I was ruining my mother and Dan's afternoon at the jeweler to have my ring set. The next Friday, Dan came home from work while I was taking a nap on the couch. He began firing questions at me, really getting me annoyed: "Do you want Outback for dinner? Cheesecake Factory?" I responded with, "I don't care," until he asked, "Do you want to get married?" I looked over, and he had the ring in his hand! I said yes, and he told me I had five minutes to be dressed and downstairs. He had a limo waiting, and we went to Nobu on South Beach for dinner! I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
