Lindsay T.
On the night of our first anniversary, my boyfriend took me to dinner to the place where we had gone on our first date. While we were eating, he kept looking outside and asking me if I knew when the sun went down. I just laughed at him and said I had no clue. We finished up dinner, and he went straight to the bathroom. He was there for a good fifteen minutes, and I was not happy. I knew we were going to be late for the movie that he promised he would take me to. As we were driving down the highway, his nephew called and told him his car would not start, and he couldn't get a hold of anyone else. We drove up to the church where my boyfriend's nephew was "stranded," and I couldn't believe I had been set up! My boyfriend's family and some friends had been in on this whole proposal! My boyfriend had been planning it for weeks. He went and bought over three red and white lunch sacks and filled them with sand and little tea light candles that spelled out "Marry me Lindsay" on a hill outside of the church. At first, I could not believe it and didn't want to get out of the car. I couldn't have asked for a better proposal!
