My honey proposed to me in a way that I completely didn't expect but was so perfect. He proposed to me on Christmas in front of my family and friends. Basically, we had gone to my brother's house for Christmas as we always do. We had dinner and started to open gifts. All of the family was just hanging out and talking when my honey finally gave me my gift. Before he handed it to me, he said that he hoped it was what I wanted and that I liked it. I sat down at the head of the table, and everyone stood around me as I opened this huge box. I opened the box to find another box in it, only smaller. I laughed and then opened the second box, only to find another box. After about the fourth box, I opened the last box to find a piece of folded up paper. Confused, I unfolded the paper and read it. It said, "Honey, I love you with all of my heart, and you mean so much to me. Now, turn around." I said, "What, turn around?" Before I could finish my sentence, I saw my honey on one knee next to the Christmas tree. All I could do was cry and get out of the chair. He asked me to marry him, and I said yes through tears. All of my family was excited and shocked, and I thought that it was the most romantic and sweet way to ask me.
