Peter proposed to me on the corner in San Francisco where we originally met.

Two years ago, his dog, Bob, ran up to me on wintery evening and began to sniff me while I awaited friends. I turned around to see what was going on and low and behold this werewolf-looking dog was just standing there, wagging his tail with a mischievous look in his eye. I looked further into the night and saw this very handsome stranger walk on up to claim his pup and our eyes locked and we smiled. Turns out Peter and I had friends, watching this all unfold, out mutual friends made the introduction and we've been dating for two years now.

It made perfect sense to Peter to propose in the exact same spot where we met. And since our favorite restaurant is in the same San Francisco neighborhood, I thought it not odd when he took me to dinner in his old hood and found parking right in front of the spot where we met. Parking in the city is not easy so how amazing that he found that exact spot open where we met? Were the stars not aligned or what!?

However, I was clueless since I thought he might propose near my birthday which was still months away. Instead he pulled me out of the car and shocked me with his proposal! It was windy and cold but I hadn't noticed. He pulled me close into him and told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and would I take he and Bob (the dog) forever? I said yes, of course and here we are, getting married at the end of April!
