On Christmas Day, I had no idea that my boyfriend was going to propose. I woke up, and we all opened our presents at my parents' house as usual. After everyone had finished opening their gifts, I realized that I still had one gift to open. The present was wrapped in a paper bag and then in bridal wrapping paper. Once I opened it, I saw the gift itself: a beautiful bridal porcelain doll. At first, I didn't notice that the ring was attached to the doll's legs with a rubber band. Once I had realized this, my boyfriend got down on one knee and in front of my family, and he proposed. It was so romantic!
