My fiancé took me on a very romantic trip to Breckenridge, CO. The day started with breakfast and a nice, relaxing dip in the outdoor hot tub. With the snow falling around us, we sipped champagne and wine and just enjoyed the day. He took me to get a massage that day and surprised me with a very intimate couple's massage. That night, we had reservations at Beano's Cabin, a high-end restaurant located at the top of the mountain and only accessible by a sleigh ride. The snow was falling around us, and we sat shivering underneath the blanket provided.
Looking out over the mountain was one of the most romantic things I had ever experienced. We got out of the sled and walked over into the restaurant. I immediately ran inside, trying to warm up. He called me outside and said he wanted to show me an icicle. When I walked around to the side of the cabin, he proposed. He told me how much he loved me, how he wanted to be with me for the rest of his life and how he had asked my father for my hand. He got down on one knee in the snow and brought the most gorgeous ring out. Since it had been snowing all day and night, the snow came up to his waist when he was down on one knee. We had a very romantic dinner and spent the rest of the night calling all of our friends and family!
