Rebecca P.

Justin and I have been together since my first year and his second year of law school, almost three years. My birthday was coming up, and he said he was going to take me out for a nice dinner, and I asked for a Citizen brand watch. So, one Friday, after work, I drove to his apartment, which requires a drive on the DC beltway. The traffic was terrible - it ended up taking me two hours to get there. I called him crying and yelling at him for making me make the drive!

Once I finally made it, I was anxious to get going and was starving. He insisted that I open my birthday present first. I agreed and unwrapped it to see a Citizen watch box! I was thrilled. Then, I opened that box, which contained another box for a watch. When I pulled that box open, I saw a Tiffany blue ring box tied with a white ribbon. I immediately started crying and attempted to open the box. He took out the ring and got on one knee and said, "I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me." I of course said, "Yes!" When he asked if I liked the ring, I said that I couldn't see it because I was crying too hard!
