Designed to delight with simple sophistication.

As the creative genius behind Tallu-lah, Danielle is that rare artistic person who has great design savvy and business savvy all in the same head. She started her career by refining her keen business sense at Gap, Inc. She then followed her paper obsession to Union Street Papery in San Francisco, where she further polished her retail and wholesale expertise. As a person who appreciates both a beautifully executed card and a beautifully executed logistics spreadsheet, she always gets the job done on time and with such meticulously chic style, she could create a company around it.

That's just what she did in 2002. Her simply sophisticated Tallu-lah greeting cards, which she letterpressed on exquisite Italian papers, were an instant hit (because she planned it that way). Today, you can find Tallu-lah designs in tasteful boutiques across the country, and in exclusive collections for Wedding Paper Divas and Tiny Prints. While she pursues her passion with Tallu-lah, Danielle also works as an event planner in San Francisco with Samantha Smith Productions. Danielle lives in Sausalito, California, a beautiful waterfront town overflowing with tourists, cyclists, views of San Francisco and good karma.

EVERYDAY INSPIRATION:

"I spend every day looking for inspiration in blogs and magazines. If I don't feel the inspiration strike me, I know it's time for a vacation."

TIPS FOR SUCCESS:

"Have at least one business idea every day before breakfast. Send at least one thank you note every day before dinner. Work like you'll need a chic cocktail afterward, and tell it like it is with a polite, sweet smile."

ON PARTY PLANNING:

"If there are two or more people present, it's an event!"
