Bridal Shower Games - Create Fun & Unique Bridal Shower Party Games
A bridal shower is not complete without bridal shower party games. When a bride is about to tie the knot it's customary for her maid of honor to plan a bridal shower and invite all the women in her life. Often times distant family members will attend the bridal shower although they have not met many of the bride's close friends. Playing unique bridal shower games is the best way to break the ice and help everyone engage in some activities to get to know one another.
Fun bridal shower games may include:
• Paper Wedding Dress: Divide the party into two or more teams of at least three people in each group. Within each team there is a selected ‘bride' and with toilet paper rolls provided they must dress their team member in a toilet paper wedding dress within 20 minutes. Best-dressed ‘bride' in allotted time wins.
In modern times it is not uncommon to host a coed bridal shower. Among popular coed bridal shower games is:
• Clothespin Game: Choose a ‘buzz word' at the beginning of the party (bride, groom, wedding). Then as each guest arrives hand him/her a clothespin. As the guests hear one another say the ‘buzz word' they remove the person's clothespin. The guest with the most clothespins at the end of the party wins.
Another option among modern bridal shower games is:
• Two Truths and a Lie: Everyone introduces herself and tells the group three things about herself; two are true and one is a lie. The audience then writes down or shouts out which one they think is a lie.

January 7, 2015Pretty Recipe Card
"We selected the recipe card because it's in the same color scheme as the invitations we ordered for my sister's bridal shower, so they are cohesive without being too matchy matchy. Her wedding has an ecclectic feel to it, and we wanted to make sure we respected that design esthetic. The paper is nice and thick and the shades of purple are pretty and vivid. We especially liked that there are additional lines on the back of the card in case people need more room to complete recipe directions. I looked at a lot of cards, and this was a real bonus. Overall, this is a great card, and we are totally pleased, highly recommend."
May 3, 2014Great card
"Great recipe card. Very good quality paper. Just wish it would be designed horizontally because when you put the cards in a recipe card box, which are usually horizontal, it will be annoying to read everything sideways."
April 9, 2014Perfect HIs/Her Game
"The card is very cute! Perfectly printed and the perfect shade of coral/pink (which is the color we chose). This is a fun game because it's about the couple and a great way to incorporate their story into the bridal shower! This one got a lot of laughs."
July 23, 2013Don't hesitate...You will LOVE this!
"I ordered these recipe cards to enclose with MATCHING bridal shower invitations and the compliments just won't stop coming...Yes, these recipe cards also have several choices of matching pieces; I went with bridal shower invitations, recipe cards, and also matching envelope seals. I also enclosed my own little card asking guests to bring their completed recipe card to the shower and exchange it for a raffle ticket to win a prize. The recipe cards are exactly something that this particular Bride-to-be will LOVE. All the matching pieces are available to your specific customization and the card stock is very heavy duty - not flimsy. Colors are absolutely gorgeous, arrival/delivery perfect. This recipe card is slightly larger than the ordinary recipe cards usually 4" x 6" sold in stores."
March 3, 2013Useful Recipe Cards
"This recipe card matches the invitation. It was sent with the invitation so that bridal shower attendees came to the shower with the recipe to give to the bride-to-be. The nice thing about this card was that I asked that the ingredient section be lengthened, since some recipes have numerous ingredients. This was done without a problem. I was also able to have the back of the recipe card lined so that the directions for the recipe could be continued on the back of the card."
