When many people think of weddings they picture a gorgeous long gown, family and friends gathered in a church to witness unity and of course, beautiful floral arrangements. Flowers play a significant role in a wedding. From the bridal bouquet and the centerpieces to the floral wedding invitations, it is important to put careful thought into selecting the type of flower that will represent your special day.
Some brides will be drawn to their favorite flower when ordering their floral wedding invitations. However, every flower has its own unique meaning which may matter when it comes to using florals as a symbolization for your unity. Some people even believe certain flowers represent good luck and a lasting love together.
Below are some popular flowers and their meanings that you may want to consider when ordering your floral wedding invitations.
1) Lilac - first Love
2) Apple Blossom - promise
3) Calla Lily - magnificent beauty and innocence; holiness and faith
4) White Rose - purity
It is common for a bridal bouquet and floral centerpieces to showcase more than one kind of flower. As long as your main flower is included in every arrangement you can decided between multiple options of accent floral. Tell your florist which flower means the most to you and they will do the rest.
Customer reviews of our Floral Wedding Invitations with a Flower Theme
April 23, 2015So perfect and gorgeous
"The invitation is beautiful with the shimmer paper option and the magenta purple flowers. The photos on the back came out clear and perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better."
April 23, 2015Beautiful Card
"I received my invitations about a week ago. I am very pleased with the quality of the card. Very beautiful and happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy from this site again!"
April 23, 2015So happy with our invites!
"Wedding Paper Divas has made my invite process so easy and I'm so happy I went with these. We did make some custom changes to make invite more personal for us. We removed the initials, therefore allowing addl spacing through the invite. We made the color more orange than peach. And we added our wedding website details to the back of the invite. I was torn between the various paper options, but ultimately I went with the signature matte because I didn't like the sheen of the pearlized since I didn't think it fit with the chalkboard look. I did go with the kraft paper envelopes and love them. Thank you WPD for making this process so fast and easy!"
April 23, 2015Perfect Fit
"This card was beautifully worded and designed. The theme fits well with our hidden vineyard, bohemian barn wedding. I really like the watercolor look. Politely worded but not too formal, it fits my fiance and I perfectly and the feel that we are trying to achieve on our wedding day."

"My invites come out beautifully. I really fell in love with the design since it went perfectly with the fact I'm getting married in a park. It's great that design includes pretty much any paper goods you'd need for a wedding. You don't have to worry about finding invites to match the placeholders. The colors are so rich. The paper is a nice thickness. The simple fill-it-in format was definitely a plus. I saved myself even more time later on by having my return address printed on the envelopes too."
