When many people think of weddings they picture a gorgeous long gown, family and friends gathered in a church to witness unity and of course, beautiful floral arrangements. Flowers play a significant role in a wedding. From the bridal bouquet and the centerpieces to the floral wedding invitations, it is important to put careful thought into selecting the type of flower that will represent your special day.
Some brides will be drawn to their favorite flower when ordering their floral wedding invitations. However, every flower has its own unique meaning which may matter when it comes to using florals as a symbolization for your unity. Some people even believe certain flowers represent good luck and a lasting love together.
Below are some popular flowers and their meanings that you may want to consider when ordering your floral wedding invitations.
1) Lilac - first Love
2) Apple Blossom - promise
3) Calla Lily - magnificent beauty and innocence; holiness and faith
4) White Rose - purity
It is common for a bridal bouquet and floral centerpieces to showcase more than one kind of flower. As long as your main flower is included in every arrangement you can decided between multiple options of accent floral. Tell your florist which flower means the most to you and they will do the rest.

April 24, 2015My Wedding Invitations
"My wedding invitations arrived last night and I could not be more thrilled. The paper quality is excellent. I had one of our engagement photos on the back and it turned out perfect. Working with WPD was as seamless and flawless as I expected. I would highly recommend this style and WPD! :-)"
April 20, 2015My invitations
"Loved the simplicity of this invitation. Was able to get a lot of information on it and still have it look really good. I purchased the package of Save the Dates, Invitation and RSVP cards - when you lay them all out together they are just wonderful. Paper is textured but the flat invite with the RSVP card/envelope was still only .49 cents to mail - great way to save on your budget! Lots of colors to personalize and you can change it up however you like."
April 14, 2015Perfect Invitation
"I cannot believe how beautiful our invitations turned out! This was the first invitation I've ever seen that was already designed in our exact wedding colors. The colors are even more perfect in person, and match our yellow and blue, vintage/rustic wedding perfectly! The back of the card prints as a much softer yellow, and I love it even more in person. The paper is nice and sturdy and will hold help well if guests bring them with to the wedding. I cannot wait to send these out to our family and friends:)"
April 5, 2015Wonderful Card
"I personalized the product with a silhouette of the tree and black font. The names were in blue. They were also able to do black and blue leaves on the back. Hopefully they are able to personalize save the dates, if not I will be very disappointed. The quality was wonderful and the delivery was pretty quick."
