When many people think of weddings they picture a gorgeous long gown, family and friends gathered in a church to witness unity and of course, beautiful floral arrangements. Flowers play a significant role in a wedding. From the bridal bouquet and the centerpieces to the floral wedding invitations, it is important to put careful thought into selecting the type of flower that will represent your special day.
Some brides will be drawn to their favorite flower when ordering their floral wedding invitations. However, every flower has its own unique meaning which may matter when it comes to using florals as a symbolization for your unity. Some people even believe certain flowers represent good luck and a lasting love together.
Below are some popular flowers and their meanings that you may want to consider when ordering your floral wedding invitations.
1) Lilac - first Love
2) Apple Blossom - promise
3) Calla Lily - magnificent beauty and innocence; holiness and faith
4) White Rose - purity
It is common for a bridal bouquet and floral centerpieces to showcase more than one kind of flower. As long as your main flower is included in every arrangement you can decided between multiple options of accent floral. Tell your florist which flower means the most to you and they will do the rest.

July 13, 2015Cherished Sprigs Review
"Absolutely beautiful. It was really easy to customize the wedding invite. My designer did a great job of brining my ideas to life. I really wanted to be able to include our parents in the invite and the designer came up with a great solution and moved a few things around. The invite is exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much!"

July 2, 2015Wedding Invitations
"Our invitations arrived recently (sooner than expected) and look absolutely beautiful! The design requests we submitted were perfect and really helped to make our invitations unique."
July 1, 2015Very happy with my invitations!
"The quality was better than I imagined! I picked the pearl finish instead of the matte and I am SO glad I did. It cost a little extra but I felt like it was worth it. My invitations came out beautiful and elegant. The rose gold foil really added to the card's elegance. It was exactly what I wanted and I was very, very happy with it! It even came before the expected date. The process was really easy. When I called to ask a question, I was helped by a really nice lady who answered all my questions and made it easy for me. And when I emailed to change and add something on my invitations during the review process, they did exactly what I wanted and everything was done in a timely manner. I asked to personalize the card by adding "Together with their parents" at the top of the card and it turned out great. I wanted the parents to be included in the invitation. Loved it."
June 26, 2015Loved our Wedding Invitation!
"Was able to personalized it to say exactly what we wanted. Also, they made changes I made to the proofs very quickly! And then the finished invitations arrived a week sooner than I thought they would! Great service!"
