Wedding place cards are one of the often overlooked wedding stationary items that are just as vital as wedding menus or programs. Remember that complicated seating chart that you and your fiancé pored over for hours? Your place cards or escort cards, will be used to tell people where to sit according to that chart, careful seat planning can save time and headaches by creating stimulating conversation and avoiding family feuds. There are a lot of great ways to display your wedding place cards at your wedding for easy access and to avoid mix-ups. A corkboard with the place cards pinned on it for your guests to find and take to their own seat works well, just be sure to include table numbers or table names on the cards. You can also place the cards at the tables and guests can mill around and find their own names, with this method you can use the cards alone or pin a flower to them, place them with a wedding favor or even pin them into an apple or other hardy fruit for an earthy chic look. Be sure to order your wedding place cards in a color that matches or compliments your other wedding stationary, especially your menu and programs.
Customer reviews of our Wedding Place Cards & Reception Place Cards
January 24, 2013Adorably Eleganct
"My wedding colors are chocolate brown and cherry red, so the colors offered on this card are perfect. The quality of the paper was better than I expected. It was a slightly smaller card than I expected, but it is still adorable in a fancy way. I would definitely recommend these."
February 21, 2011Beautiful card but you can't use calligraphy pens
"These cards are absolutely beautiful. Turned out better than I hoped. But when we have started to write out the names- a calligraphy pen won't work because the material of the paper is like porous (that's the only reason I gave the paper quality a 3, it's really a very good quality paper but the porous-ness is very annoying). So instead we are using Sharpie pens- which is definitely working out nicely, but took a bit of work to figure out what pens would work on it. Just be ready to not use calligraphy pens!"
July 5, 2010wonderful support, service and product
"I ordered the Rosy Blooms placecards to use as gift tags for my future daughter-in-law's shower favors, to match the beautiful shower invitations. The kind and knowledgeable staff walked me through each step of the process on the phone and completed my order. The cards arrived a day AHEAD of schedule and are PERFECT. THANK YOU to Wedding Paper Divas for such a wonderful experience!"
November 14, 2009Rosy Blooms makes life rosy
"We ordered invitations and place cards in the rosy blooms style, with a custom color of indigo. The ordering process was made extremely easy by allowing us to choose each aspect of the cards - Font size, color, wording, etc. The customer service we received from Wedding Paper Divas was unmatched. I had called to request an additional coupon be added to our order, and they allowed it - and also sent an apology letter for keeping me on hold for a period of time. They went above and beyond. Our goal for both the invitations and place cards was to create a clean, simple, and laid-back look for our guests. The coloring we chose, indigo and brown worked perfectly with the theme of our wedding, and I still love looking at the invitations to this day as a reminder of how perfect it all was. I would highly recommend these products for someone looking to make their wedding day special. Wedding Paper Divas is a great company to work with."
September 23, 2009Not exactly what I wanted
"I asked for the card to be one rectanglular card instead of tent-shaped. I wanted to punch a hole in it and hang it from something. It was not possible to do this so I had to cut the cards in half after I received them."
