Wedding place cards are one of the often overlooked wedding stationary items that are just as vital as wedding menus or programs. Remember that complicated seating chart that you and your fiancé pored over for hours? Your place cards or escort cards
, will be used to tell people where to sit according to that chart, careful seat planning can save time and headaches by creating stimulating conversation and avoiding family feuds. There are a lot of great ways to display your wedding place cards at your wedding for easy access and to avoid mix-ups. A corkboard with the place cards pinned on it for your guests to find and take to their own seat works well, just be sure to include table numbers or table names on the cards. You can also place the cards at the tables and guests can mill around and find their own names, with this method you can use the cards alone or pin a flower to them, place them with a wedding favor or even pin them into an apple or other hardy fruit for an earthy chic look. Be sure to order your wedding place cards in a color that matches or compliments your other wedding stationary, especially your menu and programs.

Customer reviews of our Wedding Place Cards & Reception Place Cards
February 21, 2011Beautiful card but you can't use calligraphy pens
"These cards are absolutely beautiful. Turned out better than I hoped. But when we have started to write out the names- a calligraphy pen won't work because the material of the paper is like porous (that's the only reason I gave the paper quality a 3, it's really a very good quality paper but the porous-ness is very annoying). So instead we are using Sharpie pens- which is definitely working out nicely, but took a bit of work to figure out what pens would work on it. Just be ready to not use calligraphy pens!"
August 6, 2010beautiful place card
"We bought this place card with the same design as our invitation. Again great paper and print quality. And thanks to the customer service we could get the cards without the line for the table number."
February 26, 2010Nice Touch
"I liked tying in the place card with my save the dates, invitations, programs, etc. It's nice to see consistency with your printed pieces and this completed my set nicely!"
September 23, 2009Not exactly what I wanted
"I asked for the card to be one rectanglular card instead of tent-shaped. I wanted to punch a hole in it and hang it from something. It was not possible to do this so I had to cut the cards in half after I received them."
July 9, 2009Fantastic Placecard for Indian Weddings
"I ordered these placecards in Sassy with Mustard Text, as my wedding colors were fuchsia, orange and gold. I had also ordered matching Save the Dates and Thank You Notes (we got our wedding invites in India). They looked lovely and were perfect for our "East meets West" wedding."
