Wedding place cards are one of the often overlooked wedding stationary items that are just as vital as wedding menus or programs. Remember that complicated seating chart that you and your fiancé pored over for hours? Your place cards or escort cards, will be used to tell people where to sit according to that chart, careful seat planning can save time and headaches by creating stimulating conversation and avoiding family feuds. There are a lot of great ways to display your wedding place cards at your wedding for easy access and to avoid mix-ups. A corkboard with the place cards pinned on it for your guests to find and take to their own seat works well, just be sure to include table numbers or table names on the cards. You can also place the cards at the tables and guests can mill around and find their own names, with this method you can use the cards alone or pin a flower to them, place them with a wedding favor or even pin them into an apple or other hardy fruit for an earthy chic look. Be sure to order your wedding place cards in a color that matches or compliments your other wedding stationary, especially your menu and programs.
Customer reviews of our Wedding Place Cards & Reception Place Cards
July 17, 2013Delicate design
"We love the place cards in the same design as the invitations. We wish the designer had created table number cards to go with the set. We used the thank you cards that fold to designate the number of the table."
March 22, 2012Spring Wedding
"I ordered the Save the Date, invitations and place cards in the Vintage Summer design. The design was exactly what I expected and the customer service was top-notch. My wedding is in April at a golf center so these were perfect for the venue."
October 15, 2010Timely
"Tho only problem I had was the wrong size outer envelopes were sent. Once we figured that out I called customer service and we had new envelopes printed and at our house by the next afternoon. It was very nice dealing with WPD and everyone is overly nice and makes the process very easy"
October 5, 2010Place Setting Cards
"The quality of paper was great and had texture which I think made it look nicer. They only downfall about the texture was it made things difficult when we went to print names on them. Some printed out fine but other we had to do a couple times. Overall, we were still very happy with the quality of the paper and will definitely order from wedding paper divas again."
October 3, 2010Great Red and White
"I loved the red and white, and the card is so basic that it can go with any other red and white card you would have for your invites. I made the bottom line as large as possible to write locations in the town we got married vs. numbers, and it looked great."
