Wedding reception invitations are traditionally included with the wedding invitation but sometimes are sent on their own. Your wedding reception invitations should match and compliment your wedding invitation but should still have a few unique details of their own. This could be choosing another shade of the same color, a complimentary color, a different type of paper, or even a unique shape of paper. Keep an open mind about your options and you might be surprised with the results. The information that you include on your wedding reception invitations is vital, so be sure to have someone double-check it for typos and accuracy. This information should include: the name and location of the reception venue, a contact person in case someone gets lost, and perhaps even a small map of the area to help your guests find their way to the reception site more easily. You should also include any information that your guests might need to know about the reception such as 'alcohol-free', 'bring your own beverage', 'prepare for a long and full night of dancing', or any other comments to help them to better plan their attire and schedule.
Customer reviews of our Stylish Wedding Reception Invitations and Wedding Reception Cards
December 6, 2012elegant swirls
"I used black text and khaki swirls. For the "Cocktails" line and the name of our venue, I used the Feel Script. The time and address were in Mrs Eaves Small Caps. Just beautiful!"
November 5, 2012Miscellaneous card
"We decided to forego RSVP cards, so this card we used to direct guests to our wedding website to RSVP and find information about accommodations and directions. To coordinate with our invitations, we customized the background swirl with Majestic ink and used Mrs. Eaves Roman and Folksy fonts. When I entered the information online, it didn't fit, but the designer was able to space out our information to fit well on the card."
May 10, 2012Great!
"We used this as an enclosure card to let guests know the link to our wedding website and the address to the reception. We took out the "Celebrate!" part so we could have more wording on there. It looked great!"
January 20, 2012Beautiful!!
"I used this card for a brunch invitation to place along with my wedding invitation. It was so beautiful. The paper quality is excellent! People all commented on the beauty of these invites."
June 20, 2011Stylish and Elegant
"We didn't have enough room on our invite for the reception info since there is a gap between the wedding and the reception, almost 3 hours. We didn't like that we had to spend some extra money, but it was worth it in the end to add the reception card!"
