Wedding reception invitations are traditionally included with the wedding invitation but sometimes are sent on their own. Your wedding reception invitations should match and compliment your wedding invitation but should still have a few unique details of their own. This could be choosing another shade of the same color, a complimentary color, a different type of paper, or even a unique shape of paper. Keep an open mind about your options and you might be surprised with the results. The information that you include on your wedding reception invitations is vital, so be sure to have someone double-check it for typos and accuracy. This information should include: the name and location of the reception venue, a contact person in case someone gets lost, and perhaps even a small map of the area to help your guests find their way to the reception site more easily. You should also include any information that your guests might need to know about the reception such as 'alcohol-free', 'bring your own beverage', 'prepare for a long and full night of dancing', or any other comments to help them to better plan their attire and schedule.
Customer reviews of our Stylish Wedding Reception Invitations and Wedding Reception Cards
May 25, 2010Something extra....
"These cards wern't necessary, but I wanted them anyways b/c they were a great quality paper and went well with my invitations and RSVP cards. Why not for such a low price."
June 15, 2009Excellent evening invites
"I tailored these cards for our evening wedding reception guests, which was easy to do and they look fabulous. Very easy process to design and the print and paper quality is great. My only comment would be that it would be great to be able to buy smaller envelopes for these invites as the ones we ordered are fine for the wedding invite itself but it wuold be great to have smaller envelopes for these cards too."
April 3, 2009Monogram French is a beautiful invitation
"I really love this particular invitation because I wanted a vintage/glamour feel, but somehow still modern. My wedding colors are canary yellow and charcoal grey, so imagine my difficulty when trying to find yellow wedding invitations. (That is actually the only thing I would recommend to WPD, I know you already have a lot of colors to choose from, but finding yellow was a bit difficult). I have always been very interested in fashion, and the French Monogram set really seemed to have a lot of timeless style; I feel like they make a statement without being too trendy or over the top. I love the WPD website, and your customer service and shipping process are excellent. Shopping for and picking out my invitiations was one of the most stress-free things about wedding planning so far. I will definitely be recommending my friends to this site."
