A company can be held liable only when such claims occur as a result of negligence or willful misconduct of the company or one of its employees. You should also ask the company to specify what the employees/staff will be wearing in the contract and whether or not it is your responsibility to make arrangements to feed the DJ(s), Band Members, Photographer, Videographer...
