Our Wedding Stationery Envelopes and Sizes

Signature Collection Envelope Paper
At Wedding Paper Divas, we use a paper source called Strathmore Writing Wove Ultimate White for all of our envelopes. We selected the premium 80 pound envelope paper to best match and reflect the high quality of our invitations and enclosures.

Signature Collection Envelope Sizes
Our envelope sizes are commonly referred to as A7 (inner and outer), #10 (inner and outer), Large Square (inner and outer), A2, Small Square and RSVP. Please see below for actual dimensions and cards that fit each size.

A7
A7 envelopes are used for wedding and bridal shower invitations with the dimensions 5 inches by 7 inches. The A7 envelope measures 5 1/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches. An option to include an outer envelope along with the A7 envelope is also available. The outer envelope for the A7 measures 5 3/8 inches by 7 5/8 inches. When an outer envelope is used, the invitations arrive to your guests with no postage marks on the inner envelope. The inner envelope flap is not gummed and thus does not get sealed (only the outer envelope is sealed).

All of our A7 envelopes have a modern square flap and open on the long side of the envelope. Examples of our invitations using the A7 envelope are shown below:

#10 envelopes are used for wedding and bridal shower invitations with dimensions of 4 inches by 9 1/4 inches. The #10 envelope measures 4 1/8 inches by 9 1/2 inches. The option to include an outer envelope along with the #10 envelope is available. The outer envelope for the #10 measures 4 3/8 inches by 9 3/4 inches. When an outer envelope is used, the invitations arrive to your guests with no postage marks on the inner envelope. Large Square

An option to include an outer envelope along with the Large Square envelope is also available. The outer envelope for the Large Square measures 6 5/16 inches by 6 5/16 inches. When an outer envelope is used, the invitations arrive to your guests with no postage marks on the inner envelope. A2
A2 envelopes are used for bridal shower invitations and thank you cards with the dimensions 5.40 inches by 4.15 inches. The A2 envelope measures 5 3/4 inches by 4 3/8 inches.

Small Square
Our Small Square envelopes are used for bridal shower and other party invitations and save the date cards with the dimensions 5 1/4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. The Small Square envelope measures 5 9/16 inches by 5 9/16 inches.

All of our Small Square envelopes have a modern square flap. An example of a Save the Date card using the Small Square envelope is shown below:

RSVP
RSVP envelopes are used for response cards and folded thank you notes with dimensions of 5 inches by 3 1/2 inches. The RSVP envelope measures 5 1/8 inches by 3 5/8 inches.

All of our RSVP envelopes have a modern square flap and open on the long side of the envelope. Examples of our folded thank you notes and response cards using the RSVP envelope are shown below:

Letterpress Collection Envelope Sizes
The envelope sizes for our Letterpress Collection are customized to match the specially tailored sizes of our letterpress wedding stationery and follow the style of Baronial envelopes. Baronial envelopes are traditionally reserved for formal invitations and fine stationery.

Classic
Our Classic envelopes are used for wedding invitations with the dimensions 5 5/8 inches by 7 1/2 inches. The Classic envelope measures 5 3/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches. An option to include an outer envelope along with the Classic envelope is also available. The outer envelope for the Classic measures 5 7/8 inches by 8 inches. When an outer envelope is used, the invitations arrive to your guests with no postage marks on the inner envelope. The inner envelope flap is not gummed and thus does not get sealed (only the outer envelope is sealed). If you purchase a liner with the double envelope option, the liners will come on the inner envelope.

All of our Classic envelopes have a Baronial pointed flap and open on the long side of the envelope. Examples of our invitations using the Classic envelope are shown below:

Letterpress #10
Letterpress #10 envelopes are used for tea length wedding invitations with dimensions of 4 inches by 9 1/8 inches. The Letterpress #10 envelope measures 4 1/8 inches by 9 1/2 inches. The option to include an outer envelope along with the Letterpress #10 envelope is available. The outer envelope for the Letterpress #10 measures 4 5/16 inches by 9 3/4 inches. When an outer envelope is used, the invitations arrive to your guests with no postage marks on the inner envelope.
