A bridal brunch is a great time for the bride to spend some quality time with close friends and family and have some female bonding time before the nuptials. As you prepare to send out the bridal brunch invitations, you may want to consider and plan out the menu. To aid in the process, it can help to break the brunch down into a few common categories.
Quiche is a common choice for a main course for brunch. The pie-egg combination of the dish embodies the idea of brunch. There are also various ways to create this savory course, so it can be a great way to honor different palates, allergies and food choices. Omelets and sandwiches are other common savory choices, while frittatas are a great option for those looking to keep the meal light.
The sides can range from breakfast to lunch items. A green or fruit salad could be a great option that can stretch. Virtually any type of bread, from biscuits to croissants, can be added as a side. Yogurt or parfaits are a great choice as well. For some savory options, any dish with bacon or small chicken drumettes could be great options.
For non-alcoholic options, sparkling drinks and spritzers are always a great option, along with punch. Mimosas, Bellinis or straight wines are great alcoholic options that are still very classy.
Virtually any dessert will do, so choose one or a few of your favorites. For display purposes it could be nice to have individual, bite-size portions, such as mini sticky-buns or sweet potato pie bites.
By breaking down the brunch items into these sections you can make sure that you cover the essentials. Feel free to add your own twists to certain items to make them unique to your event. Customized shower games are another great way to make your bridal brunch stand out. Consider some other ways to make your shower fun and unique.
"The invitation turned out prettier than I imagined. The text and colors were amazing. The gold shimmer envelopes were the perfect touch - high quality/rich looking."
"This card was perfect for the birdal shower I was giving. The bride's wedding colors are navy blue and whiite, so these were just right for the occasion. I added the pearl shimmer and that added a nice touch to the card."
"Did the color in navy. Changed the script to a different font. Design service was awesome as had a concern about a font I had originally picked for the registry line..they gave me 2 proofs and did great job. Would totally recommend this site!! Responded quickly!"
"The floral motif looks like it's executed in water color- with nice transparentcy - the paper also resembles water color paper in that it's not smooth. This gives a cohesive look to this card. If it were printed on flat paper it would not have looked as beautiful - and would look cheap. I should have varied the font style and size a bit more - perhaps making some lines bolder or larger - that aspect could have been improved - I also liked the square shape of this card - I didn't order the square envelope - the card fits well in the larger rectangular envelope - and when it's addressed it looks fine - but for a more formal/ custom look I suggest the custom square corresponding envelope. ( I think the postage is more - so double check with post office)."
"I absolutely loved how these invites for my Sister's wedding shower turned out and had a great experience. The designer was kind enough to help in customizing and adding an extra line of text I wanted ("J&E - The Perfect Blend" to tie together the tea theme). The quality of the materials was great. Also, while it's difficult to see online how the pearlescent glimmer looks, in printed form it is beautiful, and luxurious. I chose to also buy the envelopes, return address label wraps, thank you cards, and envelopes. My plan is to label & stamp the thank you's and give that to my sister as a gift (as saving her time on these will make her so happy). I rarely write reviews, but felt this experience was well worth it. Many thanks, WPD & Elk Design."
