"Our invite was on a dark grey "chalkboard" colored background and I put wedding website information on the back. It's really a beautiful card and many of my guests said it was one of the loveliest they'd seen. It really suited us as a couple, so that's what mattered the most. The paper is sufficient but nothing special and leads to some problems. First of all, the invites come super oversealed in plastic. Since the cards are flimsier than you'd expect, this can cause them to come out bent if you don't order a large quantity. You're almost guaranteed to damage one opening them because it's hard to slice the plastic open without coming into contact with the cards, yet the edges of the invite can come apart easily and the front of the invite is easy scratched. Be sure to check your envelopes as well. About half of mine came mostly sealed. Some of them I could carefully try to open, but the rest were unsalvagable. I called and the customer service was very nice about sending out replacements. They said they'd arrive in a couple days, but it took about a week longer delaying those invites from going out. In addition to the invite, I also ordered the matching RSVP cards. They are also very pretty, but they're even more likely to arrive bent in the plastic. When placed tucked together with the little envelopes and into the larger inner envelope (if you get them) with the invitation, you also have to be careful about their placement. If you tuck it in with the invitation in the traditional way, the point of the little envelope gets wedged impossibly in a fold of the other envelope and requires nearly ripping apart the larger inner envelope to get it out. It's also worth noting that all of the white RSVP card envelopes arrived to guests smudged grey from contact with the invitation since it rubbed off. I can't believe they haven't fixed that by finishing the card with something to seal that in or providing tissue paper shields. So all in all, I really do love the style of the invitation but regret paying over twice the price from other comparable companies expecting a difference in quality that wasn't there. For a lower price, I would have been much more forgiving."
