Do you need to know what type of enclosures you should include with your wedding invitations as well as what those enclosures should say? Do you need to brush up on your etiquette for sending wedding invitation reply cards? Our comprehensive and informative guide below provides all of the information you will need about wedding response card etiquette, suggestions on wedding invitation reply cards and more.
Invitation Enclosures Etiquette
The enclosures included in your wedding invitations do more than just help you keep track of how many guests will be coming to your wedding. That is why invitation enclosure etiquette-from wedding response card etiquette to wedding reception card etiquette-is so vital.
Wedding Response Card Etiquette
Enclosed within the invitation, the wedding response card is always sent with a stamp affixed to a self-addressed envelope. This helps to ensure that the bride and groom and/or wedding planners have an accurate count of the number of guests expected to attend. An additional benefit of response cards is that they can also include the guests' meal preferences so just the right amount of food and drinks are ordered.
Wedding Reception Cards Etiquette
What do you do if not all information about the reception will fit on the invitation? Send wedding reception cards with the additional information you need to supply. These wedding reception cards also are good if you are inviting more guests to the ceremony than the reception. In this case, these cards are inserted into the invitations of only certain people.
In addition to wedding reception cards, map and direction cards should also be printed and included if some guests aren't as familiar with the area in which you're holding your ceremony. These should be included in everyone's invitation if you so choose to print them.

Customer reviews of our Wedding Enclosure Cards
May 16, 2015great use for extra info
"We made this a venue and accomodation card. It turned out great and we were able to fit the venue and three hotel locations on it. Again, they were great with editing in adding commas where we should have put them. This card was very complimentary to the whole invitation theme!"
April 19, 2015Perfect for an Online RSVP
"We designed these cards to direct people to RSVP online at our website. They were the perfect size and were so easy. I only wish WPD offered cute little envelopes to go with these. We had to buy some envelopes to fit these at Michaels."
April 6, 2015Very Useful!
"I used these as an insert to our ivitations with our wedding website to let our guests know when and where to RSVP! So great!"
March 31, 2015Cute but a little small
"Beautiful paper front and back! The blush pink was exactly theright color! The designer was able to add special characters to enhance the instruction information ( ie: upside down exclaimation point to a Spanish expression I used) .I would have liked just a bit larger card, but that didn 't stop me from coordinating it with the invitation. I suggest changing the boarders on each card used in your invitation to add style to the packet."
November 4, 2014Pretty Reception Cards
"Instead of directions for this card, I opted for a reception card. I will be including directions on our website and wedding programs. This card mentioned the reception time, location and alluded to our website for additional accommodation information. The designers made sure that the text was congruent throughout and they look great. I didn't opt for any additional costs such as crimping or heavier paper- beautiful nonetheless!"
