After coordinating with various family members and friends, you and your future spouse have finally nailed down a date for your wedding. When you send out "Save the Date" cards, it's customary to have a picture of the two of you. You can make your card unique by posing a shot that has special meaning for the two of you. No matter what colors you choose, from black and gold to a pearl white save the date card, here are some considerations for creating a unique picture to place on it.
Unless you've moved a long way from where your relationship began, it's usually a simple matter to take a drive out to this spot and shoot some pictures. It doesn't matter if it's a fancy restaurant or a dingy dive, if it's special to the two of you then it's a great place for pictures.
If either of you is a college graduate, why not include your school colors or mascot in the photo? Honor your alma mater in your save the date photo by standing on the school's front steps or in front of an iconic statue. Some school's will even let future married couple's stand on the court or field during a break in a game to announce their coming wedding, which can make for a great photo opportunity.
Have you decided where the honeymoon is going to be? In your save the date photo, why not hold up a map of your exotic (or local) destination? You can be a bit secretive with only a few hints such as holding up a foreign country's flag and captioning the photo with a slyly asked, "Guess where we're going afterward?"
Your dark metallic or pearl white save the date cards can be more personal when you take the time to consider a unique pose for you and your spouse-to-be. Save a card for yourself to place in a memory book where you can revisit the photo anytime you want. While ordering your cards, don't forget some seating labels and thank you notes.
"We were very pleased with the quality of the card we received. It looks exactly like it does in the digital proof. The colors are brilliant, and the print quality is very crisp. The standard paper is thick enough to stand up to mailing and display without creasing. The envelopes are smooth and creamy, and take the calligraphy ink very nicely. The printing/shipping was much faster than promised. Strongly recommend."
"Added a lot of personalized touches and received excellent customer service. All questions were answered within hours of emailing. I will definitely be using them again!!"
"I had a lot of fun creating my Save the Dates!!! They have many different designs and layouts to choose from. My order came before the expected shipping date and look amazing. I absolutely love them and super pleased. I know where my invitations are going to be ordered from! Thanks for making this aspect of my wedding easier. :)"
"Gotta say this was the easiest and best experience of my wedding planning so far. I saw these cards and had to have them! This design was originally intended for Save-the-dates...which I had already done locally and months earlier. I asked WeddingPaperDivas if we could make this tri-fold the actual wedding invite instead...I hate invites that come with 5 different pieces of paper that you have to remember, not to mention the putting together! They went above and beyond my request and I am so pleased! I have received many compliments on my unique invites that have every bit of info needed on one attached card! All I had to do was fold, stuff, label, and send! Fiance and I completed this task in 2.5 hours! Thanks WeddingPaperDivas for the custom job and fast production!!!"
"This card had a nice feel to it, nore vintage. I loved the font/print. The card was really simple and I wanted something that fir more of my castle venue."
