Wedding place cards are one of the often overlooked wedding stationary items that are just as vital as wedding menus or programs. Remember that complicated seating chart that you and your fiancé pored over for hours? Your place cards or escort cards, will be used to tell people where to sit according to that chart, careful seat planning can save time and headaches by creating stimulating conversation and avoiding family feuds. There are a lot of great ways to display your wedding place cards at your wedding for easy access and to avoid mix-ups. A corkboard with the place cards pinned on it for your guests to find and take to their own seat works well, just be sure to include table numbers or table names on the cards. You can also place the cards at the tables and guests can mill around and find their own names, with this method you can use the cards alone or pin a flower to them, place them with a wedding favor or even pin them into an apple or other hardy fruit for an earthy chic look. Be sure to order your wedding place cards in a color that matches or compliments your other wedding stationary, especially your menu and programs.
Customer reviews of our Wedding Place Cards & Reception Place Cards
September 2, 2014Escort Cards
"I ordered escort cards late prior to my wedding. I was able to expedite shipping. They were received on time and the quality was great."
January 24, 2013Adorably Eleganct
"My wedding colors are chocolate brown and cherry red, so the colors offered on this card are perfect. The quality of the paper was better than I expected. It was a slightly smaller card than I expected, but it is still adorable in a fancy way. I would definitely recommend these."
April 19, 2012Simple and Elegant
"Perfectly simple and elegant. On a related note, keep in mind that if you think you might order extra cards at some point, order them earlier with your original batch. For example, we ordered invitations with enclosure cards, and then needed to order more enclosure cards about a month later (with different dates on them for people we invited in "round 2"). The second set of enclosure cards were the exact same paper, but the colour of the ink was off from our original order (the shades were noticeably brighter). So, while the quality was always excellent, order everything you think you might need all at one time to avoid any differences in ink colours, etc."

"I was so happy with these escort cards. I searched high and low from multiple sources and these were exactly what i wanted- simple design perfect for a formal reception. If you are going to DIY, just get a high quality writing pen and you will be pleased!"
June 6, 2011Place card
"I ordered the Antique Border invitations in the dark red colour and got these for our reception to match. I asked WeddingPaperDivas to take off the Table.... so we just had the two border lines and I wrote names on the cards. They looked great, very classic and simple and the paper quality was excellent - easy to fold and the cards stood up really well."
